On walks around the beautiful countryside here in south west France the hedgerows are full of interesting shapes and combinations – of plants, dewdrops, spider webs, fruits … The seasons here are ever changing and the cycle of life gets played out as time passes. I like to produce images that contain not just a visual representation of the subject but its surroundings – from the colour of the sun and the sky, the smells that surround it.
